The approved mark

Three grounds, one file.

The approved logo is a single PNG with an opaque light plate baked into the file. It is shown here on warm ivory, evergreen-deep and a hue-neutral mid-gray — the three grounds it has to survive. The plate is never stripped, recoloured or redrawn; what changes between grounds is only how the plate meets the page.

Miami Systems Inc. — Commercial Interior Construction — the approved mark shown on warm ivory

Light — warm ivory

The file’s own plate (RGB 243, 240, 235) sits 1.03:1 against ivory, so the plate seam disappears and the mark reads directly on the ground.

Dark — evergreen-deep

On evergreen-deep the baked plate reads as a bright card — 16.4:1 against the ground. That light plate is the approved dark-ground application; it is not a defect to crop away.

Neutral — 50% gray

On a hue-neutral mid-gray the plate edge holds 3.5:1: defined as a card, without shouting. The mark’s internal contrast is carried by the file and is unchanged on every ground.

Geometry

Clear space, measured from the mark.

The numbers below are read off the approved file itself — not set as policy. The canvas is 214 × 96; the ink (frame, letters, copper accents) occupies x 13–205, y 9–88; the frame stroke is 7 px at native size.

ssClear space = ss = frame stroke (7 px @ 214 × 96)

Clear space = one stroke

Keep a margin of one frame-stroke width (s = 7 px at native size, ≈ 3.3% of the canvas width) clear on all four sides, measured outward from the ink bounds — not from the canvas edge, whose baked-in margins are asymmetric (13 / 8 / 9 / 7 px).

Minimum size = half native

Never reproduce below 107 × 48 px on screen (50% of native), about 28 mm wide in print (the native 214 px at 96 dpi is ≈ 56 mm). At half size the 7 px stroke still renders at 3.5 px; shrink much further and the stroke drops under one device pixel and the frame closes up.

What never changes

Proportions (214 : 96), the baked plate, the frame and the copper accents. No recolouring, cropping, stretching, redrawing or effects — and no other mark stands in for this one.
