How it works here

A documented path, from walkthrough to turnover.

The culture claim is the same as the client claim: the process is transparent, the budget conversation is early, and nothing important is left in someone's head.

Commercial interiors are team work with a paper trail. We walk the space, read the drawings, test the scope against the budget and surface the constraints early — so the number you approve is the number you build from. Everyone in the company — estimators, project managers, superintendents, trades — is working from the same scope, the same schedule and the same set of constraints.

What that feels like day to day: communication that goes in both directions, problems surfaced while they are still cheap to solve, and credit shared with the people who did the work. A clear, documented path from first walkthrough to final turnover. That is the standard published to clients, and it is the same standard internally.

The work is South Florida commercial space — office, industrial, medical and retail interiors, much of it inside buildings that stay open during construction. It asks for people who like craft, order and showing up prepared.

More about the company

The kinds of roles

What a commercial interiors contractor staffs.

These describe the work, not current openings. Miami Systems does not publish vacancies here — what is open changes, and the only way to know is to ask.

Role

Project manager

Owns the job from the contract side: scope, budget tracking, trade coordination, schedule updates and the client conversation. Runs preconstruction with the estimating team, holds the change-management discipline through the build, and closes out with punch, documentation and turnover. Interior work means doing this inside buildings that stay open — the manager sequences the work around occupancy, not the other way around.

Role

Superintendent

Runs the field: daily sequencing of trades, quality control against the drawings, site safety, inspections, and coordination with building management in occupied properties. Reads plans properly, protects finished work on travel routes, and keeps the dust barriers, access windows and trade order working the way the phasing plan says they should.

Role

Carpenter

Builds what the drawings describe — framing, blocking, doors and hardware, specialty finishes and millwork — to the finish standard the walkthrough will judge it by. Commercial interior carpentry across office, industrial, medical and retail space, often after hours, often in spaces that were occupied the day before.

Role

Apprentice

The entry point into the trade: learning layout, materials, tool discipline and site protocols alongside experienced trades, while supporting demolition, staging and finish work. The route from apprentice to carpenter to lead is how the industry has always taught the craft.

Open positions vary and are not listed on this site. If a role like one of these matches what you do, send your résumé and say so directly — there is no vacancy board behind this page.
